SOCOPA VIANDES, 60 YEARS OF SHARED PASSION!
Founded in 1953 by 2 breeders, Socopa is above all a story of women and men, from the agricultural world and the noble profession of butchery, united by the same passion for meat.
At the heart of French breeding ponds
A subsidiary of the Bigard group, the leading slaughterer and processor of beef in Europe, Socopa is today a major player in the cattle and pig industries in France. Its sites, located in the heart of French breeding basins, and its close links with agricultural cooperatives provide it with access to numerous secure channels.
The performance of its tools and the diversity of the skills of its teams (animal selection, butchery, R&D, quality, etc.) allow it to constantly innovate in the service of its customers, while respecting tradition and taste.
Socopa has been committed since its creation to a strict quality policy to guarantee product safety and customer satisfaction. This approach translates concretely into the implementation of IFS (International Food Standard), HACCP, CCP, BRC (British Retail Consortium) certification.
Socopa restoration
Present for a long time in commercial catering as in collective catering, Socopa has developed an excellent knowledge of the expectations and constraints linked to the different types of catering. The company thus markets a very complete range of beef, veal, pork or lamb, little or very elaborate, raw or cooked, fresh or frozen.
Socopa teams are constantly listening to professionals to better understand their expectations and identify new trends in catering. This in-depth knowledge of the market allows him to constantly offer new products to his customers.
SOCOPA VIANDES is a part of the BIGARD GROUP. Just few words from hies founder to explain their philosophy.
"When you're proud of a family of products, you're even more proud of putting your family name in it." Lucien Bigard, Founder of the BIGARD group, 1974.
A phrase that perfectly illustrates the spirit of the group for over 40 years. The BIGARD group thus cultivates its profession of butcher with passion, while respecting strong values.

The question is: are artichokes alla Romana and artichokes alla Giudia the same thing? Many tend to confuse the two recipes, but let's try to dispel any doubts: the artichokes alla Giudia are a delicious recipe to taste the fried artichoke, while the artichokes alla Romana are cooked in a pan.
WHY NOT ?
